DJ Drama Represents on CNN; Superstar DJ Takes Part in Panel Discussion, "Black Men In The Age Of President Obama"

One-Hour Special to Debut Saturday, October 31st; ATL-Based DJ Unleashes Series of Mixtapes as Work Continues on the Next Installment of Smash "GANGSTA GRILLZ" Albums

Aphilliates/Grand Hustle/Atlantic recording artist DJ Drama will be among the participants in CNN's upcoming panel discussion, "Black Men In The Age Of President Obama." The one-hour special -- presented by CNN and Essence Magazine -- premieres this Saturday, October 31st, at 10:00 PM ET, with additional airings slated throughout the weekend (check local listings).

"Black Men In The Age Of President Obama" is hosted by CNN's Don Lemon, with panelists to include Bishop Eddie Long, Steve Perry and Farrah Gray -- a diverse roundtable from the worlds of faith, business, and academia. ATL-based DJ Drama was invited to represent the perspective of the hip-hop community, as well as his own unique biracial point of view. The panel discussion -- taped earlier this month at Morehouse College's King Chapel -- marks next week's one-year anniversary of President Obama's historic election.

Meanwhile, DJ Drama continues work on his hugely anticipated new album, "GANGSTA GRILLZ: THE ALBUM VOL. 3." The series' recently released second volume saw the ATL-based DJ continuing in the same flowing formula as 2007's "GANGSTA GRILLZ: THE ALBUM," with all-new original material that gathers together a veritable who's-who of modern hip-hop. Among the icons included on "GANGSTA GRILLZ: THE ALBUM VOL. 2" are Akon, Snoop Dogg, and T.I. -- all of whom are featured on the Urban hit single, "Day Dreaming (Feat.)" -- as well as Flo Rida, Gucci Mane, Trey Songz, LA the Darkman, OJ Da Juiceman, Bun-B, Nas, Ludacris, The-Dream, Busta Rhymes, Too $hort, Lil Boosie, Yo Gotti, and Willie the Kid. Production comes from such studio luminaries as Drumma Boy, Zaytoven, and Aphilliates in-house beat maker V12 Da Hitman.

In addition to his ongoing work on "GANGSTA GRILLZ," DJ Drama has unleashed a steady stream of highly praised mixtapes. Among the recent highlights are Cory Gunz' "HEIR TO THE THRONE," Willie the Kid's "THE FLY," Juicy J & Project Pat's "PLAY ME SOME PIMPIN' PT. 2," and Gucci Mane's "BURRPRINT (THE MOVIE: 3D)" and "GUCCIMERICA."

As if all that weren't enough, DJ Drama has also collaborated with Grammy Award-winner Wyclef Jean on his upcoming EP, "FROM THE HUT TO THE PROJECTS TO THE MANSION." A concept mixtape featuring such superstar guests as Eve, Cyndi Lauper, Timbaland, Maino, and many others, the EP is due out on November 10th
