Juelz Santana (real name Laron James) is being charged with multiple offenses including: possession of a firearm and a controlled dangerous substance, possession of a handgun without having a permit, possession with intent to distribute a controlled dangerous substance, and possession with intent to distribute a controlled dangerous substance within 1,000 feet of a school zone.
The Bergen Country prosecutor says Juelz is believed to be a member of the Bloods street gang.
He is currently being held at the Bergen County jail on $125,000 bail.
Skull Gang member Hynief was recently arrested on similar charges.
