Common Signs to Warner Bros. Records

Common Signs to Warner Bros. Records
After spending the last five years on Geffen, Common is finally taking his talents over to a new home, Warner Bros. Records. Label co-president/CEO Todd Moscowitz announced Friday afternoon (June 24) that the Chicago rapper had signed over to the record company.
"I'm very grateful to be a part of this family, to be a part of this team," told Common to the crowd at the record company courtyard. "We have very inspirational, exciting music to team up with you. We're just open to what this change can bring."
Common's forthcoming LP, The Dreamer, The Believer, will release under his newly signed deal at Warner Bros. Records. Although it had been pulled from Amazon, we're still waiting to hear the Nas-featured "Ghetto Dreams" in which a preview of the track leaked back in May.
