Ludacris Responds to Drake & Big Sean

Yesterday, Luda dropped his 1.21 Gigawatts mixtape and shortly after the internets got to talking about tracks 5 and 6. Months after Drake and Big Sean both called Luda out for using the “supa dupa flow” in a less-than-stellar way on My Chick Bad, he’s finally responded. Up first is the History Lesson Interlude in which Luda runs through snippets from Cam’ron (2003), Method Man (1998), Biggie (1997) and Q-Tip (1991) all using the flow over the years.
Next up is Bada Boom which is where the attack begins…

No names are dropped but it’s quite obvious who Luda is speaking to.
Counterfeit rappers say I’m stealing they flows,
but I can’t steal what you never made up bitch
Let me explain, nothing’s been new since Big Daddy Kane
Flows will get recycled, passed around to different names.
Eleven years, and still countin’
And y’all get a couple hit records, make some noise and have the nerve to start shouting?
You lyin’ to yourself, just admit it
May not like the way I used it, but you know you ain’t invent it, boy
Do your research before you make a claim so bogus that’s disrespecting pioneers in the game
My Chick Bad went platinum, still winning motherfucker!
And while the track seems to be mainly aimed at Sean, it’s hard to deny that Drake wasn’t in mind as well. And that’s not it… the track ends with Luda calling out Shawn J of Field Mob and segues into Say It To My Face where even more is said. Shawn’s response can be heard here.
*exhales… now, what is the general consensus from the dopeboyz/girlz? Do ya’ll agree with Luda’s response? Was it too late? Let us know!
