During the season premiere of "Love & Hip Hop Atlanta" this week, singer K. Michelle opened up about her former record label executive (and boyfriend) who abused her and sent her into a tailspin. Many industry insiders speculated that K. was pointing the finger at former Jive executive Memphitz, who is currently married to Lil' Wayne's ex-wife Toya, and yesterday (June 21) Meph took to Twitter to defend himself.
"As I was installing the Teeth, Titties, & Ass you're Flaunting, I forgot to tell you about the Growing Nose," he tweeted along with a photo of Pinocchio, the fictitious boy whose nose grew when he told a lie. K. sent out a series of tweets, which seemed to be (indirectly) directed at Memphitz later. "A persons true colors will always show. Never fight a battle that God already won for u. I’m still standing," she wrote.
Toya, who was on her own reality show "Tiny & Toya" with T.I.'s wife Tameka Cottle, is joining in the on the conversation. Mrs. Wright has been responding to tweets on her timeline about the abuse allegations. When one fan claimed Hitz was abusive, Toya responded, "girl sit down with that dumb sh-- and stop believing everything u hear. Have a seat."
As the "Love & Hip Hop Atlanta" season rolls one, the tweets will definitely be watching.
