Lupe Fiasco Foundation Presents their 4th Annual Block-by-Block Initiative Starting July 24th with Special Appearance by Lupe Fiasco at Undisclosed Location

(Chicago, IL)- The Lupe Fiasco Foundation is launching its 4th Annual Block-by-Block Community Feeding Initiative July 24th, 2012 with a goal of feeding at least 100 people daily in target inner-city communities such as Austin, East Garfield Park, Auburn-Gresham, & West Englewood. The event is scheduled to take place from July 24, 2012 until August 17, 2012 with a special appearance by Lupe Fiasco at an undisclosed location to be announced. • Herbert Spencer Academy: 214 N. Lavergne Ave (Thursday: 11am-1pm)
• Phalanx Family Services: 4628 W. Washington Blvd (Thursday: 1:30pm-2:30pm)
• Bethel New Life: Division & Lavergne (Thursday: 3pm-5pm)
• Inspiration Kitchen Garfield Park: 3504 W. Lake Street (Friday: 11am-Noon)
• Brunson Elementary School: 932 N. Central Ave (Friday: 1pm-2pm)
• Senior Suites: 335 N. Menard Ave (Friday: 3pm-5pm)
The goal of the LFF 4th Annual Community Feeding Initiative is to provide a healthy meal or snack during the month of Ramadan in efforts to provide healthy eating & lifestyles in partnership with community organizations to at least 100 people a day in target inner city communities. In past years the event lasted a day, eventually growing to 15-20 days with hopes of progressively growing larger each year.
About Lupe Fiasco Foundation: The targeting youth ages 10-24, The Lupe Fiasco Foundation focuses on youth development through several initiatives including The LFF Annual Coat Drive, The Little Man Project, The Youth Committee, Sensei Jaco Scholarship Fund and Off The Block.
