McDonald’s Flavor Battle, the nation’s premier DJ competition featuring DJ Khaled, launched online on Nov. 8 and includes DJ Indiana Jones from Indianapolis.
The national battle aims to crown America’s hottest emerging mix-master and begins with 24
DJs each representing a region of the U.S. and a McDonald’s iconic burger — the Angus Third
Pounder (East Coast), Double Quarter Pounder with Cheese (Central) and Big Mac (West Coast).
Music and burger lovers’ are encouraged to visit www.FlavorBattle.com to listen to a custom
mix from each DJ and vote for who they think has the most “flavor.” The three DJs with the most
votes, one from each region, will travel to the final battle in Miami and compete for $10,000 and
bragging rights as the 2013 Flavor Battle champion.
DJ Indiana Jones is one of the DJ's reppin the Midwest. We found Jones spinning at a local Mc Donald's. Jernie Graves was on site with the action.
“I’m extremely honored to be apart of the McDonald’s Flavor Battle and I’ve received a lot of
support from the community, hopefully, I will make it to the finals so I can represent Indianapolis
well,” said DJ Indiana Jones.
People can vote daily for their favorite DJ in each region at www.FlavorBattle.com. Everyone
who votes will be qualified to win a trip to attend the finale event in Miami on Feb. 7, 2013.
