Joey Fattz has been a mainstay in the Pittsburgh Hip Hop scene for quite awhile now. Winning 2014's "Best Mixtape" for his latest project, Bazooka Joe and "Best Performance" with his side group, the Grimey Click, at the Pittsburgh Hip Hop Underground Music Awards, Joey has left a lasting impact on the city. After releasing seven projects, coming up with Producers Big Jerm and E Dan from ID Labs, Joey has been exposed to and inspired by some of the best music Pittsburgh has to offer. E Dan and Big Jerm produce for the likes of Wiz Khalifa, Mac Miller, other Taylor Gang members and some of the best talent in the music industry. Joey has been longtime friends with up and coming Taylor Gang producer, Ricky P of Premier Pittsburgh Recording Studios. Now that Ricky is making moves and touring with Wiz Khalifa himself, it's crystal clear Joey Fattz has in his arsenal some of the best production in the music industry.Fattz has been cosigned by WAMO 100.1 FM, Pittsburgh's only Hip Hop/Urban radio station, Deejays Ray Love and Mike Jax who both called Bazooka Joe, "Rugged, from start to finish.” Legendary Pittsburgh DJ Nick Nice was so impressed he brought Joey aboard his own team with no hesitation. Joey Fattz's manager, Joanna IIC and his recent union with Nick, has proved to be the winning combination to push his music into every new market and set of ears they can collectively pull together. It's success has been so incredible, Joey is now working on the second installment, Bazooka Joe 1.5 and will be releasing Bazooka Joe 2 shortly there after. 1.5 features Kool G Rap, KRS-1, Taylor Gang members Chevy Woods and Tuki Carter, just to name a few. Producers Big Jerm, Ricky P and Domingo have inspired Joey to raise the bar, creating his best work to date on this second installment of the series. Bazooka Joe 1.5 will be released in the Fall of 2014.
Joey is currently on his first headlining tour, "Who is Joey Fattz," in his home town of Pittsburgh, New York, Kentucky, Ohio, Las Vegas, West Virginia and Philly. He has also been asked to join the Uk's Abstract Hip Hop Orchestra to record an upcoming project with them. Recently Joey began recording a project with production exclusively from the legendary, Domingo! Domingo Presents Joey Fattz, highlights features from KRS-1 and Chris Rivers to name a few, and will be available shortly after Bazooka Joe 1.5. Domingo was Grammy award nominated for his work with Big Pun, has an discography that is extremely impressive and creates classic, hard-hitting beats that have brought out all of Joey's musical strengths.
