http://www.vladtv.com - Joell Ortiz started out his rap career by getting signed to Dr. Dre's Aftermath in 2007, only to part ways with the label a year later, which the Slaughterhouse emcee told VladTV that he still regrets. The Brooklyn-born rapper explained that it was "internal business sh**t" that led to his departure, and he clarified that the decision wasn't based on music.
Despite his regrets, Joell explained that he eventually made his way back to Dr. Dre with Slaughterhouse, and he spoke about what a blessing it was to work with the legendary producer.
During the conversation famed producer Illmind also spoke about working with Dre on various projects, and he added that the N.W.A. emcee has a talent for "hearing things [in music] that you don't hear."
